What's the difference between soft wash and pressure washing?

Pressure washing uses water force to clean. Soft wash uses low pressure plus a cleaning solution that actually kills algae, mildew and mold. We use whichever the surface calls for. Roofs, siding and screens get soft wash. Driveways, concrete and pavers get pressure.

How much does pressure washing cost in Salt Lake County?

It depends on what you're cleaning. A typical single-story house wash runs $250–$450. A two-car driveway runs $125–$250. Roof cleaning starts around $400. We give free quotes - text us a couple of photos and we'll come back with a real number.

How often should I have my house washed?

Once a year is the sweet spot in Utah. Coastal homes (Salt Lake City, Cottonwood Heights, Holladay) sometimes need it twice. Inland homes can stretch to every 18 months.

Do I need to be home for the service?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as we have water access (an outdoor spigot) and a way around the property, we can handle it without you there. Most of our regulars are at work when we come.

Will pressure washing damage my plants?

Not when we do it right. We pre-soak landscaping, rinse anything that catches overspray, and follow up after. We've washed thousands of homes around Salt Lake County without killing plants.

Is your crew insured?

Yes - $2 million general liability and workers comp on every job. We send the COI to your HOA or property manager on request.

Do I need HOA approval?

Accepted Answer

Most HOAs allow exterior cleaning without specific approval, but a few require it. If you're in a tighter HOA (Weston, Parkland, Sandy) check your covenants. We're happy to provide our license and insurance for the file.

Will pressure washing strip my paint?

Accepted Answer

Only if it's done wrong. We use low pressure on painted surfaces and the right tip distance. Done correctly, washing actually extends paint life by removing the organic growth that breaks it down.

How long does a house wash take?

Most single-story homes are 2–3 hours. Two-story homes 3–4 hours. Big estates with lots of trim and detail can be a full day.

Do you do roofs?

Accepted Answer

Yes - soft wash only, never high pressure. Shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs. The soft wash kills the algae causing the streaks, and most roofs go four to six years before any visible regrowth.

Can you remove rust stains from my driveway?

Most of the time, yes. Irrigation rust and battery acid are the most common, and we have specific products for each. Older set-in stains are harder but usually we can get them faded significantly.

Do you clean solar panels?

Yes - with deionized water and soft brushes, the way the panel manufacturers actually recommend. Twice a year is the right cadence in Utah.

What about windows?

Do you offer recurring service?

Yes. Most of our commercial work is on a schedule (weekly through quarterly), and a lot of our residential clients are on annual plans. The cost per visit is lower and the property never gets that 'overgrown' look.

How quickly can you come out?

For most jobs, within the week. Same-day service is sometimes possible for small jobs. If you've got a closing or an event coming up, just tell us.
